The project summary tab provides a quick, consolidated view of key project metrics.
You can now view project updates as per deliverable progress (phases), time spent and budget. Let's dive into how:
A snapshot of the Project summary page:
Click the "Summary" tab on the "Projects" page to view the projects summary
You can easily filter by the "Project type" to view projects that are in a particular state. For e.g all projects that are in the "Customer onboarding" stage.
You can also customise the grid by turning on and off columns for Phases, Time, and Billing:
Phases: When enabled, this provides a visual representation of deliverables, showing progress at a deliverable level for each project. For best results, filter to view a single project type so that the deliverables are consistent across projects.
Time: Displays the budgeted hours allocated to each project, helping track time management.
Billing: Shows what has already been invoiced and what remains, allowing for better financial tracking.
Grouping by Roles: You can group projects by roles (such as Project Manager or Technical Lead) to organise data based on team responsibilities.
Project notes
Each project now has an icon that, when clicked, slides out the project notes, so you can quickly review important information without navigating into each project.
The Project Summary page is designed to give you a high-level overview of project progress, time allocation, and billing status—all in one place. More updates are on the way!
