Step by step guide on how to create a new project in Ascendr

Congratulations on signing up for Ascendr to enhance your Customer onboarding and customer success processes! Now, get started quickly by creating your first project as shown in this tutorial.

  1. Click on “New Project” from the top right corner of the screen

  1. Fill in the required details for the project

  • Title - A name for your project

  • Client - Customer name

  • Status - Status of the project

  • Project type - Type of the CS project ( onboarding, a type from a created template like “Tier 1 customer onboarding”)

  • Project tags - Add any relevant tags for better grouping

  • Description - Any details of the project you would want to add

  • Value - Monetary value of the project in your preferred currency

  • Budget hours - The number of hours effort you’re allocating to spend on the project

  • Start date - The date the project starts

  • Due date - The date the project is supposed to end

Project overview screen

The project overview screen shows all the active projects for the user. It shows a snapshot with the number of projects under - New, In-progress, On-hold, complete, canceled and to-do statuses.

You can also see a summary and a timeline screen that shows the project statuses in a timeline (bar chart) format

Now that you have created your first project, build it out by adding deliverables, tasks and files to it as per your requirement.
